WarningAudio output may exceed 150 decibels. Wear hearing and eye protection during pressurization and shooting. Stay 15 feet. clear of target when shooting.
For even more shooting fun, buy several MegaBOOM STS units and create a shooting range without having to "reload"!
MegaBOOM STS uses empty 1- or 2-liter recyclable soft drink or water bottles
The Ballistic Saftey Bag is included to cover the bottle during pressurization
Built-in target stand
The "BOOM" is caused by a supersonic rip in the plastic bottle. MegaBOOM STS is a pressurizing device that allows you to pump air (you supply the air source – bicycle floor pump, compressor or dive tank) into ordinary, everyday, plastic soft drink or water bottles. The pressure inside the plastic bottle, when released by the impact of a projectile (arrow, bolt, bullet or pellet), causes the bottle to rip at a supersonic speed, resulting in a small sonic boom (up to 150 decibels) that can be heard up to three-quarters of a mile.
Designed to use 1- or 2-liter bottles. MegaBOOM STS is designed specifically to use common 1 or 2 Liter recyclable soda pop or water bottles. Just raid your recycling to get more targets. You can also buy a separate adapter that allows you to use 500 mL water bottles (adapter sold separately).
Add a cloud to the loud. Add a small amount of cornstarch or flour to the bottle for added visual effect. MegaBOOM STS can be easily cleaned. Dishwasher safe.
Screw empty plastic bottle into threaded bottle receiver on the top of the MegaBOOM STS until snug against O-ring.
Attach bike tire pump (not included) to the air valve on the bottom of the MegaBOOM STS.
Place MegaBOOM STS into Ballistic Safety Bag and pump until a minimum of 105 psi is attained. Remove bag and place the MegaBOOM STS upright. Your pressurized bottle target is ready to shoot.

Premium pressure gauge identifies pressure
Air intake valve
Small-bottle adapter/safety plate rotates under pressure plate and above bottle collar when small-necked (500 mL) bottles are used
Pressure-release valve prevents pressure from getting too high
Bottle fits onto tapered plug/nozzle
Pressure plate locks bottle down onto manifold/base
Swing pressure plate away from base for loading.
Align and swing pressure plate over bottle collar.
Slide and press bottle down over tapered plug.
With pressure plate in place over the bottle collar, create an air-tight seal by securing with finger-tightened nuts.
When standard bottles are used, the small-bottle adapter/safety plate should be rotated under the bottle mouth and onto the rubber plug.
